Job Description

Duties :

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Provide a variety of activities and materials that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents / guardians.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate special events, field trips, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.

Requirements :

  • Highschool Diploma and / or GED
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
