Looking for a Day shift CNA 2 where you're more than just a number? Our Emergency Department team is known for its compassionate leadership, low turnover, and strong sense of camaraderie. We care for patients with a wide range of acute medical needs, giving you the chance to grow your clinical skills in a supportive environment. With leaders who are present and deeply invested in your success, this is a night shift that offers stability, impact, and community.
Schedule: 7am - 7pm, Day Shift, Full-Time (Shift Differential for 2:30p- 7:15p)
Department: Emergency Room
Location: NHRMC New Hanover Regional Medical Center
What You'll Do
Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
What We're Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience: One year, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Completion of NA I and NA II programs, required. NA registry as NA I in good standing. Current NA II certification with state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
Additional Skills (required): BON Health Care Provider. Medication Safety - AME
Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation
