Job Description Job Description We are seeking a NURSE PRACTITIONER to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Responsibilities : Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Qualifications : Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Company Description Dr. Albert Marano has been in private practice in Johnston, RI since 1993. We have one of the busiest neurology practices in the state of Rhode Island. Our practice has over 14,000 patient charts going back to 2008. We treat patients with a variety of neurological problems and perform many procedures including : migraine, Botox injections, head injury, MS, movement disorders, memory disorders, stroke, epilepsy, EMG / NCS testing, neuropathic pain disorders, low level laser therapy, toxicology screening, genetic swab testing. We currently have 2 office secretaries, office manager, 2 mid-level practitioners, an RN, an EMG technician, and 2 EEG technicians.
