Job Overview – Physician Assistant (Bilingual)
Compensation: $80/hour
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday (On-Site)

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Physician Assistant (Bilingual) in Los Angeles, CA for our client, supporting the delivery of high-quality primary and urgent care services through telemedicine in a community health setting. This opportunity offers the chance to care for a diverse patient population while working with an experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to expanding access to healthcare. The ideal candidate will have prior urgent care experience, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and be comfortable managing a high-volume patient schedule independently.

Responsibilities as the Physician Assistant:
  • Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive telemedicine evaluations, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Clinical Management: Prescribe medications, order appropriate diagnostic testing, and provide follow-up care to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care and referrals when appropriate.
  • Patient Education: Counsel patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Quality Care: Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care while supporting quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals.

Qualifications for the Physician Assistant:
  • Education: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
  • Licensure: Active California Physician Assistant license and board certification are required.
  • Experience: 1+ year of post-graduate urgent care experience as a Physician Assistant is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience providing primary care, urgent care, or community health services is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telemedicine platforms is required.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual English and Spanish with the ability to independently conduct patient assessments in both languages is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, communication, organizational, and patient education skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment are required.
