Job description

About Atria:

The Atria Health Institute is a membership-based primary and specialty health care practice with a focus on prevention and longevity. We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. All care, including primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, 24/7 home visits, and imaging is included in members’ annual fee.

Our mission is to make healthspan and lifespan equal for all by translating science into medicine in real-time, all while bringing humanity back into health care. Delivering such robust, personalized, and preventive health care is complex and requires a team-wide dedication to excellence.

We successfully opened our flagship Institute in New York in 2022, expanded to South Florida in 2024, and will be bringing the Atria experience to the West Coast with the launch of our Los Angeles Institute in late spring 2026.

About the Orthobiologic Program

Atria is launching a precision orthobiologic program, offering regenerative medicine procedures including PRP, Lipogems, A2M/iRAP, and Regenokine delivered within the high-touch Atria care model. The program is led by Ken Zaslav, MD, a board-certified orthobiologic physician, and is designed to give Atria members non-operative, evidence-informed options for musculoskeletal health, injury recovery, and longevity optimization.

This NP role is foundational to the program's launch. The right candidate will work closely alongside Dr. Zaslav as a full procedural and clinical partner performing PRP injections, conducting MSK assessments, managing member follow-up, and helping build the operational and clinical infrastructure of a program being built from the ground up.

Role Summary

The Nurse Practitioner will serve as the primary advanced clinical practitioner for the Atria Orthobiologic Program, operating under a collaborative practice agreement with Dr. Ken Zaslav. This is not a support role; the NP will independently perform orthobiologic procedures, conduct musculoskeletal assessments, manage member care plans, and absorb care coordination responsibilities during phase 2.

This role is ideal for an NP with hands-on procedural experience, a genuine interest in regenerative medicine, and the entrepreneurial drive to help build a new clinical program within a growing, mission-driven practice.

Clinical & Procedural

  • Perform PRP, PRP+PPP, and other orthobiologic injections under ultrasound guidance, operating under collaborative practice agreement with Dr. Zaslav
  • Conduct initial MSK assessments and intake consultations, evaluating member history, imaging, prior treatments, and procedure candidacy
  • Assist Dr. Zaslav with higher-complexity procedures including A2M/iRAP, Lipogems, BMAC, and Regenokine
  • Develop and communicate post-procedure care plans including activity restrictions, physical therapy recommendations, and follow-up scheduling
  • Perform follow-up visits to assess outcomes, manage complications, and determine candidacy for repeat procedures
  • Operate and maintain clinical equipment including centrifuge, Horiba cell counter, and Sonosite ultrasound; conduct daily QC checks in coordination with the Medical Assistant
  • Document all clinical encounters in Athena (consultation notes, procedure notes, follow-up summaries) in accordance with Atria standards

Program Development

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical SOPs, procedure protocols, and member-facing educational materials
  • Participate in outcomes data collection (pain scores, functional outcomes, adverse events) in support of the program's clinical evidence framework
  • Actively participate in the evaluation, contributing clinical observations and member feedback to program leadership

Compensation:

$160,000 - 180,000

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York State (Orthopedic, NP, or equivalent scope covering MSK/procedural care)
  • National board certification (ANCC or AANP)
  • Minimum 2 years of NP experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, pain management, physical medicine, or a procedurally-intensive clinical setting
  • Demonstrated experience performing injections (joint, soft tissue, or ultrasound-guided); experience with PRP or other biologics strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with phlebotomy
  • Proficiency with or willingness to train on ultrasound-guided injection technique
  • Experience with electronic medical records; Athena familiarity a plus
  • Ability to operate under a collaborative practice agreement in New York State

Preferred

  • Direct experience with PRP preparation and injection procedures
  • Background in regenerative or orthobiologic medicine
  • Experience in a high touch membership-based, or high-touch clinical environment
  • Familiarity with validated MSK outcome tools (VAS/NRS pain scales, KOOS, HOOS, PROMIS)
  • California NP licensure (or willingness to obtain) to support future virtual consultations for LA members

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • On-site presence required at Atria NYC for all procedure days; hybrid scheduling for follow-up and coordination tasks may be considered after ramp-up
  • Standing and assisted patient positioning for procedure durations; ability to operate ultrasound equipment with precision
  • Exposure to biologic materials; adherence to infection control and sterile technique protocols required
  • Occasional extended hours during program ramp-up and launch period (September–December 2026)

Benefits

At Atria, we are proud to offer every member of the Atria team:

  • Excellent health and wellness benefits, 100% paid by Atria effective date of hire
  • Flexible Time Off
  • 401k contributions and 4% match starting after 6 months
  • Opportunity to participate in continuing medical education programs for maintenance of Continued Medical Education and CEUs for professional licensure
  • Fitness Perks including Wellhub +
  • Time to give back and make an impact in underserved communities
