Job Summary and Responsibilities

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona seeks an Orthopedic - Hand Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Gilbert, AZ .

This position will perform :

• Weekly clinic coverage working alongside the Physician.
• Possible after hours call for emergent patient needs transferred from after hours call service.
• Rounding in the hospital.
• Administer injections with and without ultrasound guidance.
• Surgical first assisting, including wound closure and splint application.
• Maintain current knowledge of orthopedic practices through continuing medical education.
• Order, interpret and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and administer medications and physical therapy as necessary.
• Participants in quality assurance and quality improvement for patient care.
• Works within a multidisciplinary team.
• Additional duties as assigned by leadership.

$56.83 - $82.40 / hour
