Work Setting : Itinerant (Multiple School Sites)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a qualified and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students across multiple school settings near Albuquerque, NM . This itinerant position serves two elementary schools, one high school, and an off-campus autism-based district program , providing both direct and indirect services.

Caseload & Service Model :

Elementary Schools :

2 schools, approximately 1112 students per school

High School :

Approximately 1718 students

Additional Support :

Provides services and consultation for an off-campus, autism-based district program

Responsibilities :

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to eligible students

Provide indirect services , including consultation and collaboration with teachers and school staff

Support students with autism and diverse learning needs

Assist with goal development and progress monitoring within IEPs

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Qualifications :

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

Current or eligible New Mexico OT license

School-based experience preferred

Experience working with students with autism is a plus

Strong communication and collaboration skills
