Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Job Opportunity

In this position, you will install, repair, service and maintain our clients' outdoor lighting systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

  • No work on weekends and no on call hours.
  • Install, maintain and service landscape lighting systems according to schedule and applicable instructions.
  • Identify and rectify problems with landscape lighting systems, timers and transformers.
  • Safely drive company vehicle to clients' houses or places of business.
  • Interact with clients to answer frequently asked questions and provide system overview.
  • Complete required production forms.
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to start work at 6 am and work an 8 to 10 hour day. Normal work hours are from 7 am - 3 : 30 pm Monday - Friday.

Language Skills :

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, plan documents, and short correspondence.
  • Ability to use computer for client record update and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, and other employees of the organization.

    • Qualifications Requirements :

  • Previous experience with electrical, irrigation, landscaping or low-voltage landscape lighting is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid drivers license with good driving record.
  • Must own basic hand tools and small power tools.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and at various heights.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Must have a positive service attitude towards clients.
  • Must be able to manage a small crew.
  • Must be a self starter and be able to work alone.
  • Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available.

    Compensation : $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
