Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time PreOp PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. As a PreOp PACU RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients before and after surgery.
Job Responsibilities :
- Primary focus on PACU
- Assess, instruct and prepare patients prior to surgery
- Administer medications and IV therapy as needed.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and overall condition in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Provide post-operative care and support, including pain management and patient education.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
