Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for experienced Managed Care Specialists / Paralegals to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of TennCare (TN TennCare) located in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid position working from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. Paralegal Key Responsibilities will include : -Determining individual and family eligibility for client's care programs.-Assisting in coordinating and communicating schedules to internal / external clients.-Conducting client interviews, collecting facts and information, and compiling case data to provide recommendations to an attorney.-Timely management of casework, including proper documentation and case resolution.-Providing legal research, analysis of legal papers, and drafting legal documents; documenting findings accurately.-Working efficiently / effectively in multiple databases to extract information.-Attending workgroup meetings and participating in discussions.-Assisting leadership team, as necessary.
Education Requirements and Skills Needed for Paralegal position : -MUST have a bachelor's or associate degree.-A background in Paralegal studies is preferred.-Work experience in a legal environment is preferred.-Customer service or call center experience is a plus.-Proven technical skills (, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).-Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet specific deadlines with minimal supervision.-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.-Strong notetaking, email organization and distribution skills.-Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Other Important Information : -The position is a hybrid one in downtown Nashville, TN.-The contractor will work on-site and remotely based on the team's schedule.-The position is a contract one for 12 months with an opportunity to be extended.-Training is extensive, up to 6 weeks prescheduled, virtual / in-office (by supervisor request), and contractors must attend training every day to build proficiency.-NO preplanned time off will be approved during training weeks.-MUST be local to middle TN and able to work in the client's office in Nashville as needed.
