Job Details
A mid-sized litigation firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support complex matters. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, document-intensive practice.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including drafting and formatting pleadings, discovery requests / responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
Manage large case files and document productions, including organizing land, title, and right-of-way records, deposition materials, exhibits, and trial binders.
Coordinate and support hearings, mediations, and trials by tracking deadlines, maintaining calendars, and working with clients, experts, and court personnel.
Conduct factual and limited legal research, summarize documents and testimony, and prepare chronologies and reports for attorney review.
Handle electronic filing in state and federal courts and maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic and paper case files.
Qualifications
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience; background in energy, real estate, commercial, or eminent domain matters preferred.
Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and time management.
Proficiency with litigation software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office.
Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred.
