We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.
Rogers Group is currently seeking a Corporate Paralegal to sit out of our Nashville, TN office. This position will be reporting directly to the General Counsel and Secretary Vice President.
Job Responsibilities :
- Administrative duties include processing and submitting legal bills for payment, entering expenses (for reimbursement or in connection with use of company p-card) into Oracle and filing of backup documentation.
- Preparing board and shareholder meeting minutes.
- Preparing and submitting state and private prequalification applications.
- Preparing and submitting licenses to do business in new states.
- Maintenance of corporate formalities documents.
- Secretary of State filings to maintain corporate existence (including as foreign corporation).
- Drafting basic legal documents (correspondence, affidavits, secretary’s certificates, confidentiality agreements, .
- Assist in recording and maintaining real property records.
- Assist with filing and document retention of acquisition, real estate and construction contracts.
- Other paralegal tasks as time allows.
