Medical Assistant (Per Diem, Part-Time)
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant to join our team for a per diem, part-time position. This role is primarily clerical with some clinical support and involves traveling between our locations in New Jersey and New York. Fluency in Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist patients with completing intake forms, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
Provide translation services for Spanish-speaking patients to facilitate clear communication.
Prepare and organize necessary paperwork for providers prior to patient evaluations.
Communicate effectively with the main office to ensure seamless coordination and operations.
Perform other administrative duties as needed to support office functionality.
Requirements :
Must be fluent in Spanish and English (both written and verbal).
Flexibility to travel between locations in NJ and NY.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Prior experience in a medical office or similar setting is preferred.
Prior experience in pain management and orthopedics is also preferred.
