Description & Requirements
Maximus is excited to invite applications for Quality Control Specialists to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in a fully remote capacity. As a Quality Control Specialist, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and compliance of Medical Disability Examination (MDE) reports and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) prepared for veterans under the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about supporting veterans and enhancing healthcare quality.
This position is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 , and we can only consider candidates who are U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough reviews of MDE requests to ensure coherence with DBQs.
- Inspect MDE reports and DBQs for accuracy, completeness, and any typographical or grammatical errors.
- Engage in communication with medical providers to facilitate corrections on MDE reports and DBQs before submission to the VA.
- Confirm that all diagnostic requirements requested by medical providers are completed and properly submitted with final reports.
- Maintain daily queue management to ensure all assigned cases are updated with notes and appropriate actions taken.
- Collaborate with the Medical Advisory Board on cases needing further evaluation or presenting issues with assigned providers.
- Consistently meet the weekly and monthly performance goals established by management and the VA.
