Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, project managers, and cross-functional departments to define project scope, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential schedule delays or cost overruns, and proactively recommend corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct critical path analysis and risk assessment to identify potential bottlenecks and develop contingency plans for complex engineering projects.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, components, and services, working closely with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, schedule updates, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure all planning activities adhere to technical specifications, engineering documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize ERP systems for resource planning, inventory management, and tracking project-related data to optimize operational efficiency.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between various project stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and aligned on project goals and progress.
- Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and contribute to process improvement initiatives for future planning efforts.
Salary & Benefits
This temp-to-perm role offers a highly competitive hourly wage ranging from $32 - $55 per hour , which translates to an annual salary of approximately $66,560 - $114,400, commensurate with experience and skills. This compensation package is designed to attract top-tier talent in the Northridge, CA engineering market. About the Role
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position based in our Northridge, CA facility. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, requiring on-site presence to facilitate close coordination with engineering teams and manufacturing operations. No significant travel is anticipated for this role. You will report directly to a Project Manager or Planning Lead, working as part of a dedicated team focused on project execution excellence. All necessary planning software licenses, computer equipment, and tools will be provided to ensure you have everything needed to perform your duties effectively.
