Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company has an AMAZING Temp-to-Hire opportunity for an experience Material Handler with good computer skills and forklift experience.
Purpose of Job : Operate systems and equipment at the site to package anesthetic agents according to customer requirements. Documents all activities in the proper GMP format, ensures accurate Inventory is maintained, and performs proper cleaning of the Pharmaceutical Packaging area.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations such as the warehouse down the street.
- Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information by way of SAP / PAS-X systems .
- Reviews Finished Goods shipments from packaging for accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
- Confirms picklist details and or special instructions provided by the weekly packaging schedule; expedites shipments that affect the packaging schedule.
- Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and / or using hand trucks and skids) in and out of packaging and the Bethlehem warehouse.
- When problems arise, resolves issues by contacting the following departments with email warehouse, planning, QC and packaging supervision.
- Apply Quarantine / Approval labels on finish good pallets
- Conducts weekly cycle counts of packaging and Bethlehem warehouse.
- Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment within packaging and Bethlehem warehouse.
- Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within or to the main warehouse.
- Documents all activities in a manner that is compliant with GDPs and all FDA regulations. This may include providing information to the person responsible for completing the packaging batch record.
