Job Description

Rural hospital several hundred miles West of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time Pharmacist. Great pay and benefits are listed below.

Pay starting at : $68.62 / hour

  • Sign on bonus, retention, and relocation eligible
  • 3yrs agreement, $sign on bonus, retention; 7% 1st and 2nd year, 9.1% 3rd year
  • 2yrs agreement, $7,500 sign on, retention; 6% 1st and 2nd year
  • Relocation; 20k family, $15k individual

Pharmacist Opportunity :

  • Assure appropriateness of drug therapy / delivery
  • Inpatient and outpatient openings for the Pharmacist positions
  • Pharmacist must be willing to learn or understanding of patient-oriented and management computer software systems

    • Pharmacist Qualifications :

  • Licensure in the State of Alaska is required
  • Degree in Pharmacy (i.e., B.S. or Pharm. D.) form a school or college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) is required

    • The Location :

  • Rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage.
  • No state income tax and permanent fund dividend after a full calendar year of Alaska Residency
  • Great fishing, hunting, and wildlife including the ability to go see polar bears and sled dogs.
  • Daily flights to Anchorage and other Alaskan cities
