SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for the provision of direct patient care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Duties include direct patient care as well as indirect patient services such as documentation, ordering, family training, rounds, and interaction with the interdisciplinary team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association approved curriculum
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the state board of Physical Therapy
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – required prior to the end of the orientation period
