Job Description
- Lead a small crew in planning and executing daily traffic control operations.
- Communicate clearly with your team to ensure safe and efficient work zones.
- Set up, Maintain, and remove traffic control devices, while monitoring work zones to ensure safe traffic flow and proper placement of lane closures
- Inspect work zone to confirm proper placement of signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices to comply with state regulations
- Providing outstanding service and protection to customers and public
- Protect the company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.
- Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup / design and professional flagging.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1-2+ years of experience preferred in an outdoor safety-focused environment, such as :
Military
Construction
Utilities
Road Maintenance
Heavy Equipment or Skilled Operators
Experience leading small crews, enforcing safety rules, and interacting with customers
OR
1-2+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate
TCT / TCS Certification preferred but not required at time of hire
