What You'll Do:

• Purchase materials, equipment, supplies and services of a specialized or complex nature in accordance with prescribed purchasing regulations and procedures.
• Negotiate, award and administer procurement actions for commercial and Government-funded requirements.
• Supports compliance with DFARS requirements, CPSR readiness, strategic small business reporting, and documentation of procurement packages in accordance with defense acquisition regulations.
• Manages diverse procurement activities including capital equipment, software licenses, BPAs, services, maintenance, repairs, construction, chemicals, electronics, machined parts, semiconductors, and hardware built to Teledyne/Government specifications.
• Provides program, planning, and proposal support, maintaining supplier status updates and frequently utilizing ERP systems; Deltek Costpoint experience a plus.

What You Need:

• Familiarity with purchasing concepts and must be comfortable negotiating price and other terms and conditions
• Ability to work in a high volume/pressure environment with demanding deadlines and make complex business decision with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interface with vendors and internal customers with patience, diplomacy and tact
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency using Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business desired with 5-10 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions

Salary Range: $77,900.00-$103,800.000
