Director, Professional And Managed Services

We are actively seeking an experienced Director, Professional and Managed Services. The role will report directly to our NAMER, Senior Director Professional and Managed Services. The role will be based in the Eastern Timezone US, ideally within commuting distance of one of our regional hubs. The role will require periodic travel as necessary (expected +50%) across the Region to meet with prospects and clients.

The people-oriented position will bring 5-6 years in consultative sales experience, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by offering both deep product knowledge and a strong value-based sales acumen. This includes leading Services sales cycles resulting in a clear Scope, Approach, Schedule, and Outcomes favorable to Client and Rimini Street. The position also represents a key innovation channel which provides value propositions back into offerings which range from tactical to potential new markets.

This will require an ability to work in matrixed and high-growth organization. Field Sales, Pre-Sales, Product Management and Marketing, Legal, Delivery and Client Services are examples of organizations the position will routinely collaborate with to bring innovative solutions to install base customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Professional Services sales team to build a book of business through engagement with Rimini Street Sales, Clients, Delivery and prospects
  • Engage in oversite, not management, of ServiceNow projects to assist with value, quality, and targeted outcomes
  • Demonstrate skills in Consultative Selling approach to business development
  • Engage with Professional Services Delivery leadership to scope and estimate projects
  • Collaborate with Professional Services leadership to engage in continuous improvements
  • Be the key interface between Professional Services and Rimini contract legal team. Draft contract outlines which leverage leading practices in structuring contractual relationships to capture service obligations. Scope, Schedule, Approach, Assumptions, Invoicing structures, & RACI structures are all examples of relevant topics.
  • Assist with developing sales materials including value proposition pitch decks and budgetary proposal templates
  • Lead extended & matrixed sales teams on strategy, offerings, and selling Professional Services Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Grow awareness of Rimini Street unique value proposition across personal network; share messaging and gain insight from this endeavor
  • Become an expert in existing and Innovate compelling new offerings to expand business as input to Product Management and Delivery

Education & Certification

  • Evidence of ServiceNow sales / pre-sales certifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree highly desired
  • LEAN or Six Sigma certification, preferred
  • ITIL and COBIT awareness or certification, highly desired
  • Location

  • 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow & / or Salesforce products and / or project implementations
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow's ERP Modernization capability and delivery approach preferred
  • Aware of and experience in guiding through Information Security risks
  • Contribute to or lead client discussions regarding Security Issues related to ServiceNow and similar Software Products & Databases
  • Proven experience in selling ServiceNow professional services Projects and contributing to solutions for clients
  • Experience in Pre-sales being able to build business plans including revenue projections, expenses, present and future value calculations
  • Demonstrated experience in developing proposals and presenting solutions to clients
  • Experience developing, maintaining and executing client business plans as well as
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent fluency in English both written and verbal
  • Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
  • Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients
  • Ability to assist in pre-sales efforts and clearly articulate value for the client and sales engagement managers(hard savings, soft savings, revenue increase and brand good will)
  • Good understanding of ERP and SaaS Industry Solutions
  • Solution selling trained and / or certified
  • Value-based selling trained and / or certified

    The general salary range for this type of role is 134k - 201k depending on skills and experience.
