SUMMARY

The Senior Continuing Education Program Coordinator works under minimal supervision to direct and manage the planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of accredited Continuing Education (CE) and Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) programs for healthcare professionals. This role exercises independent judgment and authority in overseeing program operations, ensuring compliance with Joint Accreditation standards, and supporting the successful execution of live, virtual, and hybrid educational activities.

Responsibilities include directing, analyzing, coordinating, and evaluating program operations and procedures; developing and monitoring program budgets; establishing program goals, objectives, and quality measures; and recommending process improvements and operational enhancements. The position collaborates closely with faculty, department leadership, speakers, learners, vendors, accrediting bodies, and interprofessional teams to manage activity planning, registration, disclosures, attendance tracking, evaluations, certificates, reporting, and required accreditation documentation.

Previous experience with Joint Accreditation requirements, coordination of complex CME/CE activities, and leadership or team oversight is strongly preferred. This position plays a critical role in ensuring CE programs are delivered efficiently, remain compliant with accreditation standards, and support continuous quality improvement and operational excellence.
