At Advanced Therapy Solutions, we believe in the power of speech and communication to change lives. We're seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team and help children from birth to age 21 achieve meaningful developmental milestones in various settings, including clinics, home health, and telehealth.
Responsibilities :
- Assessing communication needs : Evaluating individuals' communication needs and designing AAC strategies tailored to those needs.
- Providing training : Training individuals and their support teams on the use of AAC devices and strategies.
- Collaborating with professionals : Working with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to develop comprehensive communication plans.
- Supporting clients : Offering direct support and training to clients and their caregivers to ensure effective communication and computer access.
- Educational opportunities : Participating in educational training and creating new educational materials for clients and partner organizations.
- Remote work : Many AAC Trainers work remotely, providing support and training from the comfort of their own homes or offices. These roles are essential for helping individuals with speech and language impairments communicate effectively and participate fully in their communities.
