Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee architectural projects under the guidance of the Firmwide Director of Architecture. The role involves managing schedules, coordinating with staff, and ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget. The Project Manager will collaborate with senior management and marketing to align design strategies with the organization's vision and provide marketing coordination. Additionally, the role involves managing the architectural design process, enhancing design strategies, and training staff on design and project management standards.
Responsibilities

Manage architectural projects from initial concept through construction documentation.

Coordinate with other offices on joint projects.

Represent the architecture studio and the firm in marketing efforts.

Lead design assignments, including conceptual, schematic, and development phases.

Provide staffing, scheduling, and budgeting projections for projects.

Oversee initial massing, site planning, and design concepts.

Deliver high-quality presentations and construction documents.

Review design specifications for quality control and adherence to project concepts.

Engage with high-end private club clientele and key stakeholders.

Offer leadership and feedback to the project team to ensure quality results.

Maintain a presence in professional organizations such as the AIA.

Assume responsibility for the profit and loss of projects.

Draft proposals and estimate project fees.
Essential Skills
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
-
Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, with a preference for hospitality experience.

Registered Architect / NCARB certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of building codes and conceptual/master planning skills.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes.

Experience in preparing architectural contract documents and specifications.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
Strong visual communication skills, including hand sketching, graphic diagrams, 3D modeling, and rendering.

Knowledge of graphic software tools such as Photoshop, Enscape, and SketchUp.
-
Experience in sustainable design / LEED is a plus.
-
Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
Work Environment
The position is based in our brand new office space in Baltimore Peninsula, with a team of 40 employees across the Baltimore and Naples offices. The role requires travel one night a month to various client sites across the U.S., focused on private clubs, clubhouses, restaurants, and aquatic centers. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
