A leading automotive finance company, located in Irvine, is seeking a Project Manager for a long term contract role.

Seeking an experienced contract Project Manager to lead delivery of a large-scale Loan Origination System (LOS) modernization initiative. The contractor will be accountable for driving execution across business, technology, and vendor teams in a regulated financial services environment.

This role requires hands-on LOS delivery experience and a proven ability to manage enterprise-scale transformation programs with multiple dependencies.

Scope of Services

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the LOS modernization across discovery and implementation phases
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, budgets, and dependencies
  • Drive discovery and execution across parallel workstreams (credit, underwriting, integrations, data, UI / UX, compliance, infrastructure)
  • Manage day-to-day delivery performance of system integrators and delivery partners
  • Identify, track, and mitigate LOS-specific risks (regulatory, data migration, cutover, legacy dependencies)
  • Prepare and deliver working-level status updates, decision materials, and governance artifacts
  • Support funding reviews, gate approvals, and enterprise governance processes

Required Contractor Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in financial services or consumer lending
  • 3+ years leading LOS replacement or large sale enterprise system modernization initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of the consumer credit lifecycle
  • Proven experience managing third-party vendors
  • Experience in auto finance, banking, or fin-tech environments
  • Experience with Salesforce is priority and secondary would be experience with Defi solution
