Location: Miami, Florida
The Opportunity
A nationally recognized commercial general contractor specializing in high-end restaurant construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
This role offers the opportunity to manage complex, design-driven builds for premium hospitality brands nationwide within a family-oriented, highly collaborative environment that values long-term relationships, stability, and teamwork.
The Project Manager will report to the Executive Project Manager and VP of Project Management and play a key role in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
Based in the Miami office, the Project Manager will manage 3–5 projects simultaneously, ensuring strong coordination among internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Project Planning & Execution
- Participate in project turnover and review scope, assumptions, allowances, and contract requirements
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents to ensure full understanding of project expectations
- Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with field teams
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor overall project progress
- Review daily field reports and maintain a project issues log to proactively manage risks and resolutions
Financial & Contract Management
- Manage project budgets, schedules of values, and cost controls
- Review and approve subcontractor billings and invoices
- Prepare owner billings based on percentage of completion
- Evaluate, negotiate, and manage change orders to protect project profitability
- Coordinate subcontractor reconciliation and ensure financial closeout requirements are met
Subcontractor & Vendor Management
- Complete subcontractor and vendor buyout processes
- Prepare scopes of work and maintain accurate purchasing documentation
- Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and ensure performance expectations are met
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and project stakeholders
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status reporting to senior leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation including RFIs, submittals, and project records
- Manage construction document flow and ensure proper distribution to project team members
- Support coordination efforts required to obtain building permits and regulatory approvals
Closeout & Quality Control
- Manage punch list completion and final inspections
- Oversee project closeout documentation and turnover requirements
- Ensure all contractual, administrative, and financial closeout requirements are completed
What We’re Looking For
- Direct experience working for a General Contractor building high-end restaurants (required)
- Minimum 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (3–5 at a time)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel or similar project management tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proven tenure and stability with previous employers (longevity is important)
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Work Environment
- This role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk using a computer, with occasional walking, lifting, and work in a loud environment.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $110,000 – $130,000, depending on experience
