The Master Production Scheduler will play a key role in managing and optimizing the production schedule for a company in the shipbuilding industry. This position ensures that production processes across multiple sites align with customer demands and operational capabilities. The successful candidate will use their scheduling expertise, industry knowledge, and advanced skills to drive efficiency and team collaboration to meet production goals.
Experience Requirements
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in production scheduling.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced or expert level.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Experience working in a matrix organization with project management responsibilities
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
· Master Schedule Management: Develop and manage the master production schedule across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with production goals and customer demands.
· Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with teams across departments to collect and coordinate production needs, aligning schedules with operational priorities.
· Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely availability of resources.
· Data Analysis for Scheduling: Utilize production data to make informed scheduling decisions that maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
· Process Improvement Identification: Continuously assess production scheduling processes to identify and implement improvements that increase operational efficiency.
