The Garrett Group is seeking a certified Database Administrator to support USSTRATCOM J-7. Applicants should possess a degree and/or an industry-standard certificate/license that demonstrates knowledge, skills, and ability in database administration, along with at least 3 years of experience as a database administrator. The combination of education and experience must showcase the following core job skills: data modeling and database design, database schema creation and management, general database management, ensuring data integrity and availability, capacity planning, and expertise in web-specific technology.
Position Requirements:
- A degree and/or industry-standard certificate/license that demonstrates knowledge, skill, and ability with database administration
- At least 3 years of experience as a database administrator
- The combination of education and experience must demonstrate the following basic job skills: data modeling and database design, database schema creation and management, general database management, ensuring data integrity, ensuring data availability, capacity planning, and web-specific technology expertise.
Other Desired Qualifications:
- Database design and development (tables, indexes, triggers, stored procedures)
- Application architecture experience and Windows//IIS server administration.
- JavaScript, C#, VBA, and other languages, as required, to include web development experience in front end, backend, and within VBA applications using Office suite (Excel, Word, Access).
- Tableau, Power BI, Sequel, Access, Excel, Visual Basic and SharePoint visualization and database software
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must have a current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
