The role of a Daily Property Adjuster is to deliver outstanding claim management services pertaining to daily claims that may involve multiple perils.

Contract Requirements Include:

• A contract will be issued within 24 hours of accepting your first claim assignment with Alacrity. This independent contractor agreement will outline pay details and other essential information necessary for your role. Signing this contract is a prerequisite for payment.

Skills & Requirements/Licensure:

• Must reside within 50-100 miles of the assigned location and be willing to travel.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in property field adjusting.
• Independent adjusting license in your home state, or a designated home state license if living in a non-licensing state.
• Experience with wind, hail, theft, fire, water losses, and other perils is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, a computer, digital camera, ladder, and other tools necessary for performing adjuster responsibilities.
• Capable of climbing roofs.

Computer and Phone System Requirements:

• Smart cell phone with internet access.
• Proficient in Xactimate and/or Symbility with an active subscription.
• Working laptop computer with reliable high-speed internet.
• Digital camera and other tools required for adjuster duties.

Working Conditions / Physical & Mental Demands:
The physical demands outlined here must be met by the independent contractor to successfully perform this job.

• 100% travel required within the designated working territory based on the location of assignments.
• Normal office or field claims environment. Ability to operate a motor vehicle for up to 8 hours daily, which includes repeatedly entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Must be able to physically inspect auto loss sites and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability to work during catastrophic loss events and willingness to work irregular hours, including possible overnight travel, is preferred.
