Warranty Claims Specialist - req1635

OVERVIEW

Join our innovative team as a Warranty Claims Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in managing the warranty claim process for service parts, ensuring maximum efficiency and accuracy in all operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately and efficiently claim all warranty entitlements from CMSU vendors.

  • Handle warranty claim reimbursements amounting to $16M annually, processing over 3,000 transactions with precision.

  • Verify all billing related to warranty entitlements for consistency and accuracy.

  • File warranty claims promptly, ensuring adherence to vendor deadlines.

  • Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive warranty database for all entitlements.

  • Coordinate the timely return of defective warranty parts to vendors, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Ensure the prompt receipt of replacement parts or financial credits for claims.

  • Collaborate closely with the Finance department to ensure accuracy in warranty receivable accounts and claims.

  • Oversee the warranty returns process for CMSU dealers, enhancing operational efficiency.

  • Publish detailed monthly reports on warranty claims and trends to inform decision-making.

  • Engage in routine communication and collaboration with various departments and team members.

  • Make informed decisions and provide actionable recommendations aligned with departmental goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in PC applications, including Oracle Database and Excel spreadsheets.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a service parts or logistics setting, focusing on vendor warranty claims.

  • Preferred: 5 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $66,500 annually, contingent on experience.

  • Ideal candidates should be located within Central Standard Time (CST).
