Habitat America, LLC, a growing Mid-Atlantic property management company, is seeking an experienced, professional Full-Time Property Manager to oversee two established multi-family apartment communities located in Baltimore, MD located near Johns Hopkins. This community is made up of approximately 500 apartment units.

The Property Manager serves as the on-site leader and is responsible for the overall performance of the communities, including leasing and marketing, daily operations, resident relations, financial oversight, and staff supervision. This role is ideal for a hands-on manager who takes pride in running high-performing communities and delivering an excellent resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day property operations for communities
• Lead leasing and marketing efforts to maximize occupancy and revenue
• Ensure a high level of customer service and resident satisfaction
• Supervise, train, and motivate on-site staff to achieve operational goals
• Maintain strong curb appeal and ensure property standards are met
• Review monthly operating statements, budget-to-actual variances, and cash flow
• Prepare accurate and timely reports and monthly financials
• Enforce lease terms and community policies consistently and professionally
• Utilize Yardi or similar property management software to manage operations and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Property Manager in a multi-family environment
• Prior experience managing large unit count communities
• Strong background in leasing, marketing, and resident retention
• Proven experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and operating expenses
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with ownership and regional leadership
• Yardi experience preferred
