We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Energy's Outage Department. Initially, the position requires training at the St. Petersburg Operations Center for 2-3 months, after which it can transition to a fully remote role. The role involves performing outage auditing functions for the Florida's transmission and distribution system, tracking the outage response, and updating the system throughout the process. It is crucial to recognize inaccuracies and make necessary adjustments to the data, as this information is used in electric reliability reporting submitted to the Florida Public Service Commission.
Responsibilities- Perform outage auditing functions for the transmission and distribution system.
- Track outage responses and update the system throughout the process.
- Recognize inaccuracies and adjust data such as cause code, time off, time restore, or equipment involved.
- Record data accurately for use in electric reliability reporting.
- Strong background in project coordination, administration, and document/data tracking.
- Experience coordinating with power utility companies is advantageous.
- Ability to interact with individuals from diverse socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong data management skills.
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn new software/systems.
- Document control

- Power-related experience is a plus

The position begins with training at the St. Petersburg Operations Center and transitions to remote work after a few months. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
