Associate Proposal Manager

As an Associate Proposal Manager, you'll assist with the bid submission process from initial contact through contract signing for our cutting-edge products and services, including winning. You'll coordinate proposal activities in accordance with the request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Your duties will also include a review of proposals to ensure the appropriate themes are incorporated.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience
• Typically, 2+ years of business experience, which includes 1-2 years of proposal experience.
• A higher-level degree that includes proposal experience and writing may substitute for professional proposal experience
• Ability to utilize proposal management software and AI tools
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple proposals of all sizes from proposal planning to delivery
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
• Ability to work within time constraints, have a flexible schedule, be ready to meet changing deadlines and priorities to capture proposal needs
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Self-starter and a problem solver; must have the ability to see the big picture and implement changes as required
• Prior experience in a Lead role; the ability to mentor, train, guide and inspect the work of team members and coordinate project tasks to ensure milestones are met
• Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certification
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
• Experience preparing Pricing Volumes to include work breakdown structure (WBS) and Basis of Estimate (BOE), including government contracting proposal processes and procedures
• Understanding of one or more of Adobe Creative Suite applications: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
• Skills in the use of MS Word, i.e., formatting, outlining, graphics integration, for the use of proposals

This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $82,039.23 - $112,803.95. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
