JOB TITLE: Project Engineer
LOCATION: Wichita, KS
PAY RATE: $65/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Track and manage team progress to ensure projects remain on schedule
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement
-
Utilize Smartsheet and related tools to monitor, analyze, and report project status
-
Provide regular status updates and performance reports to management and stakeholders
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
-
Minimum of 10 years of experience in program or project engineering support
-
Strong background in project scheduling, coordination, and cross-functional team support
-
Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management tools
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in aircraft manufacturing
-
Exposure to new product development, particularly in aerospace composites or thermoplastics
-
Familiarity with government contract requirements
