We are currently looking for Direct Care Providers to join our residential programs!
Job Preview at a Glance
As a Direct Care Provider, you will provide screening, assessment, treatment planning, life skills, pre-vocational training, related documentation, case management, crisis intervention, individual and/or group counseling services to seriously mentally ill consumers in a residential environment. Responsible for contributing to and creating a recovery-based environment.
Schedule: Monday and Friday, 8am-4pm
Job Duties:
Contributes to quality client care and effective treatment, demonstrating professional conduct in serving consumers.
Engages in solution focused, strength based behavioral health/clinical services to consumers in accordance with company standards.
Performs direct service to consumers including individual, group, life skills training, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
Provides assessments and crisis intervention.
Will be expected to accompany, supervise and assist consumers when asked to do so.
Plans and organizes activities.
Assists consumers with community integration.
Develops treatment plans for consumers in conjunction with psychiatrist and/or case managers according to SBH clinical standards.
Documents services provided, according to SBH standards on a daily basis
Qualifications:
Minimum requirement consists of a 21-year age
A High School Diploma/GED and six months of full-time Behavioral Health experience/integrated health experience; OR
A related Associate's degree and six weeks of full-time Behavioral Health/integrated health experience; OR
A non-related Associate's degree and one year of full-time behavioral health/integrated health experience; OR
A related bachelor's degree; OR
A non-related bachelor's degree plus six months of relevant experience in behavioral health.
MVR clearance required.
Must have fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive upon hire (as required per program requirements).
