The Dietary Aide is an integral part the team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As a Dietary Aide you are responsible for a full range of duties in an interdisciplinary environment.

Dietary Aide perform the following job duties:

• Establishes and maintains a positive rapport with patients/residents, family members, visitors, etc.
• Promptly responds to questions or concerns of patients, notifying immediate supervisor as required.
• Assist with meal prep, plating and service
• Cleaning and sanitation of kitchen
• Proper food storage
• Functions as an effective member of the team by completing assignments in a timely, accurate, and caring manner.
• Effectively collaborates with other team members to create and maintain an atmosphere that is warm and positive throughout the facility.

Job Requirements

• 6 months Dietary Aid experience is preferred. Experience cooking in a long term care facility is a plus.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards is preferred

Employment is contingent on successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check in accordance with state and federal regulations.
