COMPENSATION: Depending on position, experience &education, LPN salary starts at $22.99/hour and RN positions start at $30.24/hour (PRN/As needed rates vary).

Residential RN and LPN

Crisis Services - Crisis Stabilization Unit for Adults (Knox andHamblen Counties) and for Children (Knox / East TN Children's Hospital) (RNs ONLY)

Gateway - Adolescent Male Alcohol & Drug Treatment andMental Health Treatment (RNs ONLY)

Katie Miller - Adolescent Female Alcohol & Drug Treatment andMental Health Treatment (RNs ONLY)

Centerpointe - Residential Alcohol and Drug Treatment forAdults and Medically Monitored Crisis Detox (RNs & LPNs)

Intensive Long-Term Support Program - Adult supportive residential facility (LPNs)

Outpatient RN and LPN

PACT RN Case Manager - Intensive Outpatient /Community Based Treatment (RNs ONLY)

Health Link Nurse CareCoordinator - Clinic based with traditional hours (RN's & LPN)

REQUIREMENTS - LPN or RN

Education/Knowledge:

• Current LPN or RN license in Tennessee (depending on position).
• Knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, A&D, and co-occurring disorders preferred.
• CPR certified or willing to become certified.

Experience:

• Experience in working with special populations including individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and dual diagnosis disorders preferred.
• Computer experience in a health care setting required.

Abilities /Skills:

• Must have excellent people, role-modeling, and communication skills.
• Ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity.
• Must have excellent computer skills (including Windows, electronic medical record, and email) and the ability to learn new software products quickly.
• Proficient in typing, electronic medical record and technology as well as paper charting of medication administration records.
• Must be adept at multi-tasking.

Physical:

• Exposure to biological hazards.
• Hearing of normal and soft tones as well as close eye work.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.; Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• To ensure the safety of the clients and staff, this position requires certification in and adequate implementation of verbal and physical de-escalation techniques (Handle with Care) that includes a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, going down on knees, running, and walking.
