About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice NP in Nebraska!

Our client in Nebraska is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day assignment starting Mar 9, 2026. This role involves working Tuesdays through Fridays from 7:00am to 6:00pm, providing comprehensive family medicine care for a variety of acute and chronic conditions, with potential for urgent care visits, and the possibility of working as the sole provider.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a diverse patient panel encompassing family medicine, cold, cough, flu, chronic disease management, diabetes, hypertension, STI, UTI, and Well women's exams.
• Conduct physical exams, order or perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses.
• Address urgent care-type visits, including lacerations, minor injuries and trauma, suturing, and ingrown toenail removal.
