Program Specialist

The Fullerton School District is seeking dynamic, hands-on leaders with great communication, technology, and team building skills, who are passionate and committed to the achievement and success of all students. Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services or designee, the Program Specialist will provide leadership and coordination in the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of special education programs. The Program Specialist has advanced training in the education of individuals with exceptional needs and specialized knowledge of programs and services that serve this population. The Program Specialist will assist teachers and staff with IEP facilitation, case management, provide resources to site teams, and help facilitate inclusive experiences. Additionally, the Program Specialist will meet regularly with special education staff and site administration to ensure program quality and compliance are maintained for state and federal regulations.

For School Psychologist Applicants: A valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential with an authorization in School Psychology is required.

For Education Specialist Applicants: A valid California Teaching Credential with an Education Specialist Instruction Credential or an equivalent, comparable authorization is required.

Administrative Services Credential: Preferred, but not required.

Experience: A minimum of 35 years of successful experience as an Education Specialist or School Psychologist in a K12 educational setting is required.

Complaints will be considered confidential. However, it may be necessary to disclose certain information in order to effectively investigate the complaint.
