Reporting directly to the President, the Provost serves as the university's Chief Academic Officer and plays a central role in shaping and advancing Boise State's academic, research, and student success priorities.

Boise State seeks an accomplished academic leader with an earned doctorate or terminal degree, a record of scholarly achievement meriting appointment as a full professor, and significant senior leadership experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to shared governance, academic excellence, research growth, faculty engagement, and student success, along with the strategic vision, operational expertise, and collaborative leadership necessary to guide a complex public university through a period of continued growth and opportunity.
