Job Description:
Auburn Dental Group, P.C. has an opening for a full-time Dentist in our Auburn, Massachusetts
office located at 492 Washington Street Suite #3 in Auburn, MA 01501. This position will also
report to our Natick, MA location, Sterling, MA location, Worcester, MA, North Andover, MA
location, Concord, MA location, Lexington, MA location, and our other Auburn, MA location (at
176 Auburn Street in Auburn, MA 01501) on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive oral exams on patients (including patient interviews and taking
medical and dental history), devise and implement treatment plans using intra-oral and
extra-oral photographs and digital radiographs, dental instruments, and other diagnostic
procedures for children, adults, and seniors;
Diagnose and treat dental disease, injuries and malformations of hard and soft oral
tissues and related oral structures, and help prevent oral disease;
Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, root canal treatment, fillings, crowns and
bridges, simple and surgical extractions, occlusal guard, teeth whitening, and cosmetic
dentistry, including smile design and veneers, implant planning, placement, and
restorations, implant supported partial and complete dentures, and socket preservation.
Ensure patient record-keeping, including treatment plans and specialist
recommendations;
Educate patients with oral hygiene instruction, caries prevention and control, causes and
treatment of dental problems;
Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws; and,

Care for each patient with personal attention while performing dental treatments.
Required Licensure: Commonwealth of Massachusetts Licensure in Dentistry
Required Education, Training, and Employment Experience: A minimum of a Doctorate in
Dentistry (DMD, DDS) from an accredited School of Dentistry in the United States, plus 1 year
of training in dentistry (training acquired outside of the United States is accepted) and 1 year of
professional experience in dentistry (professional experience acquired outside of the United
States is accepted). Training and professional experience must include the following:
Training in Implantology and Training in Endodontics
A minimum of 1 year of employment experience examining and treating patients by
interpreting radiographs and diagnostic tests
A minimum of 1 year of employment experience restoring carious and fractured teeth
A minimum of 1 year of employment experience performing root canal procedures
A minimum of 1 year of employment experience performing non-surgical and surgical
extractions
A minimum of 1 year of employment experience performing procedures for crowns and
bridges
A minimum of 1 year of employment experience setting dentures to replace missing
teeth
