Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will oversee essential reporting processes and ensure financial operations run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly FLASH reports, quarterly
Call Reports, and consolidated financial statements.
Month-End Leadership: Managing the month-end closing process and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations completed by Staff Accountants.
Process Innovation: Identifying opportunities to automate workflows and implementing new software procedures to keep the department efficient and compliant. ...

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will oversee essential reporting processes and ensure financial operations run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include:Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly FLASH reports, quarterly Call Reports, and consolidated financial statements.Month-End Leadership: Managing the month-end closing process and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations completed by Staff Accountants.Process Innovation: Identifying opportunities to automate workflows and implementing new software procedures to keep the department efficient and compliant.Regulatory Compliance: Assisting with annual external audits and maintaining standards required by regulatory bodies such as the OCC, FDIC, and Federal Reserve.Operational Oversight: Managing property taxes and renditions for over 300 locations, while processing intercompany rebills and allocations.Team Collaboration: Mentoring staff through cross-training and participating in industry webinars to stay ahead of banking and accounting trends.

qualifications
You must hold an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.A Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance.Between three and eight years of professional accounting experience.A developed understanding of accounting principles and experience with automated accounting systems.Ability to pass a background investigation according to company policy
