Housekeeping Houseperson

As a Housekeeping Houseperson, you will support the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, delivering linens and supplies, and assisting with room resets. Your role ensures that both guest rooms and common areas meet HVMG's cleanliness standards. This position reports to the Executive Housekeeper.
Key Responsibilities

You will be the behind-the-scenes support for our hotel's housekeeping team, ensuring they have everything they need to provide exceptional guest experiences.
Your daily tasks will include stocking housekeeping carts, delivering supplies to guest rooms, and assisting with cleaning tasks as needed.
You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
A career as a houseman-houseperson can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as housekeeping attendant, housekeeping supervisor, or even a managerial position in hotel operations.
A job in housekeeping can take you down almost any path, and it is great for someone who wants to learn the hotel business inside and out. This is also a great career for someone who likes to leave work behind at the end of the shift.
Public Area Cleaning
Clean and maintain lobby, hallways, elevators, breakfast area, public restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
Perform carpet cleaning in guest rooms and public areas as needed, following the preventative maintenance schedule.
Support for Housekeeping Team
Stock housekeeping carts with clean linens, amenities, and supplies.
Remove soiled linens and transport them to laundry or designated areas.
Assist with room turns when needed (e.g., delivering items, helping reset rooms).
Property Walks & Guest Support
Conduct property walks to identify cleanliness issues, maintenance needs, or safety hazards.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests (extra towels, pillows, supplies).
Professional Expectations
Maintain a clean, safe, and guestready environment throughout all public spaces.
Work efficiently and independently while supporting the housekeeping team.
Uphold Hilton brand standards for cleanliness and guest service.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 20-40 lbs, push/pull housekeeping carts, and stand/walk for long periods.
Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and stocking.

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:
