Hours: Hours vary 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p etc. 4 Days per month.
Summary:
Conducts audits of medical records within defined guidelines to ensure compliance with State/Federal and accreditation regulatory criteria. Documentation and analysis of findings required. Collects and reports required statistics.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Current New York State RN license
Valid drivers license
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years Medical Surgical experience required
3-5 years Home Care clinical experience preferred (CHHA, licensed, long term home care)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY
Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Access)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to apply judgment independently, discretion in handling confidential information
Analytical ability
Willingness to travel to various buildings and departments within the Catholic Health System
Must possess strong interpersonal skills necessary to work with medical staff, case management, patient care services, ancillary and support departments
Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
