Position: Maintenance Director
Location: Lakeland, FL
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to lead and oversee all maintenance operations within our skilled nursing facility. This leadership role is essential in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance operations
Manage and coordinate maintenance staff, schedules, and daily activities
Conduct routine inspections of equipment, systems, and building infrastructure to ensure safety and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of repairs, warranties, inspections, and preventative maintenance
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal maintenance and safety regulations
Supervise and assist with repairs, upgrades, and facility improvements
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency maintenance issues and on-call situations
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a skilled nursing facility
Working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, plumbing, and electrical systems
Experience with maintenance software systems (e.g., TELS, Secura) preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Must be available for on-call emergencies as needed
