The Role They are now looking to expand their supply-side team with a Publisher Development Director for the North American market, across News and Entertainment verticals. The role will primarily have responsibility for the Northeast region and timezone.
You will develop your own pipeline, outreach and schedule, meeting with Publishers and closing deals, as well as maintaining great relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase Publisher inventory on the platform. You have the freedom to develop data-driven revenue strategies through a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities, which align with Publisher needs.
You will ensure Publishers are on-boarded to the platform smoothly and effectively, so they can maximise their earning potential, as well as track their performance and suggest areas for improvement.
Working as part of the North American team, the role reports to the SVP.
The Person You will have a super sales acumen and extensive network of tier 1, 2 and comscore top 100 Publishers, especially in the News and Entertainment verticals across North America, especially the Northeast. You should also have:
- A solid background in adtech business development, such as SSPs, DSPs, ad networks, etc as well as solid publisher development experience
- Excellent knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, and especially how ad networks work
- Be familiar with CRM tools
- Have great communication and relationship-building skills
The role is based remotely from within the New York area, with travel to client sites as and when required. The role is paying up to $150k pa, plus a whopping OTE potential with uncapped commission.
