Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Director of Finance will serve as a key business partner responsible for financial strategy, reporting, operational oversight, and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Planning

  • Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • Evaluate investments across technology, operations, staffing, and acquisitions
  • Provide financial guidance related to growth initiatives and operational strategy

Financial Reporting & Analytics

  • Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and actionable reporting metrics for leadership
  • Monitor cash flow, profitability, and overall financial performance
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making

Accounting & Operational Oversight

  • Oversee accounting and bookkeeping functions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage external audit, tax, and accounting relationships
  • Improve and scale financial controls, policies, and procedures
  • Support operational efficiency across finance functions

M&A & Growth Initiatives

  • Assist with financial due diligence and acquisition integration efforts
  • Support deal modeling, earnouts, and equity-related analysis
  • Partner with leadership on strategic growth initiatives and expansion planning

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience
  • Prior leadership experience within finance or accounting functions
  • CPA preferred; MBA a plus
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, or professional services environments highly preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strategic mindset with willingness to remain hands-on when needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: Up to $170,000 DOE
  • Discretionary bonus target around 20%
