Job Title : QA Lab Technician

Job Description

As a QA Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This position will have you spending approximately 80% of your time in the laboratory and 20% on the production floor, providing a balanced combination of hands-on lab work and floor interaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and report analytical results of products and raw materials, alerting out-of-compliance results.
• Administer the company's Quality Program in accordance with customer and company requirements.
• Review and develop QA procedures.
• Regularly review production and receiving records.
• Conduct sensory evaluations, visual inspections, and analyses of raw ingredients and finished products.
• Maintain sample retain library.
• Perform final wash inspections of production rooms.
• Troubleshoot product discrepancies.
• Conduct internal audits of cGMP areas and premises.
• Perform tasks as required by the Food Safety Calendar.
• Conduct environmental analyses and titration of sanitation chemicals.
• Participate in finished goods hold / release system.
• Provide technical support to R&D and Operations.
• Investigate customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with third-party audits (BRC, Safe Food / Safe Feed, HACCP).
• Create and maintain production documents, including archival storage and certificates of analysis.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 / hr.
