Imagine taking a weathered surface and turning it into a durable, high-performance finish that stands up to time and the elements. That’s the impact you’ll make as our Corrosion Control Blaster-Painter in Portland, OR (97203).

What You’ll Tackle

  • Prepare workpieces by cleaning, sanding, and masking with precision.
  • Use abrasive blasting tools to remove corrosion, paint, and debris to the required profile.
  • Measure, mix, and apply primers and coatings according to detailed specifications.
  • Evaluate the completed finish for consistency and quality; perform touch-ups as needed.
  • Service and organize tools, spray guns, hoses, and blast equipment.
  • Prioritize safety procedures and jobsite guidelines at every stage.
  • Coordinate with the team to meet deadlines and uphold quality benchmarks.

What You’ll Bring

  • Professional experience performing both painting and sandblasting.
  • Understanding of coating materials, application methods, and safety protocols.
  • Skill operating sandblasting equipment safely and productively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Physical capability to handle and lift heavy materials.
  • Team communication skills and a cooperative work style.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; related certifications are advantageous.
