Quality Control Technician

Pay Range: $30 - $38/hr DOE + Incredible Benefits

Location: Denver, CO

Position Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: M-F: 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. + Optional OT

How you'll spend your time as a Quality Control Technician:

Perform first article, in process, and final inspections of machined parts.
Complete customer data packs, including PPAPs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
Partner with production to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Conduct incoming material inspections as needed.
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
Help maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D standards.
Maintain calibration records for inspection tools and equipment.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Quality Control Technician:

2+ years of quality control experience in a machine shop or manufacturing.
Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances.
Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
CMM Manager or Calypso experience preferred.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and grow alongside a collaborative quality team.
High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
